All-On-4® Dental Implants Perth

If you’re missing multiple teeth from both arches, you may experience difficulty eating and speaking and a decrease in confidence. Without treatment, tooth loss can lead to progressive bone loss in the jaw, changes to your facial structure, and further dental complications over time.

Perth Dental Rooms is an established clinic providing All-On-4 dental implants to patients across Perth. All-On-4 implants offer a fixed, natural-looking set of new teeth that can be placed in a single day, helping patients eat, speak, and smile with confidence without relying on removable dentures.

Led by Dr Vireena Koshal, our experienced clinical team successfully performs over 1,000 All-On-4 procedures annually with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical outcomes.

We designed Perth Dental Rooms with your comfort in mind. Our practice offers a calm, welcoming environment that combines modern clinical excellence with a patient-first approach. Each treatment room is equipped with the latest digital implant technology, and our strict sterilisation and infection control protocols ensure the highest standards of safety. We use only TGA-approved implant systems, including Nobel Biocare and Straumann, and our clinicians are proud members of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).

We aim to make your All-On-4 journey as smooth and supported as possible, from your first consultation to your final result.

All-On-4 Perth

What are All-On-4® Dental Implants?

All-On-4® is a clinically documented full-arch tooth replacement approach developed by Dr Paulo Maló with Nobel Biocare. It uses four titanium implants – two placed straight at the front and two angled towards the back – to support a fixed arch prosthetic for the entire upper or lower jaw.

At Perth Dental Rooms, we use just four implants placed exactly where they need to go in your jaw. The two front implants are placed vertically, while the two rear implants are angled at up to 45 degrees. This angle maximises contact with the strongest available bone and, in most cases, eliminates the need for bone grafts, making All-On-4 suitable for many patients who have been told they have insufficient bone for conventional implants.

Our All-On-4 clinic in Perth uses this technique to give patients a complete, fixed set of teeth in a single appointment without the lengthy delays associated with traditional implant methods or bone grafting.

All-On-4 Cost Perth

At Perth Dental Rooms, the All-On-4 dental implant cost starts at $19,000 per jaw with an acrylic bridge and $25,000 per jaw with a zirconia bridge. The final cost depends on your individual treatment needs. Factors such as whether extractions are required, if bone grafting is needed, the material chosen for the final teeth, the overall complexity of the case, and any sedation requirements will influence the total investment.

Why Choose Perth Dental Rooms for All-On-4® Dental Implants?

Teeth in a Day

By using your strongest existing bones, we can often provide a fixed set of teeth in a single session, eliminating the long waiting periods and multiple surgeries associated with traditional implants.

In-house digital dental laboratory

Our on-site laboratory means your prosthesis is designed and fabricated right here by our technicians. This gives Dr Koshal direct collaboration with the lab team throughout your case, faster turnaround times, and greater quality control over the final result.

Nobel Biocare® All-On-4® System

We use the Nobel Biocare® implant system, the trusted, original technology behind the All-On-4® treatment. Backed by years of research and clinical success, this system ensures you receive a proven, high-quality solution for a lasting smile.

TGA-Approved & ADA-Compliant Components

Every implant component we place is TGA-approved and meets the strict safety standards of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), ensuring your treatment reaches the highest Australian benchmarks for quality and safety.

QIP Accredited for Your Safety

As a QIP-accredited practice, we meet the highest clinical standards and undergo regular third-party audits to ensure your care is safe and reliable.

3D CBCT imaging and digital treatment planning

Every All-On-4® case begins with a cone beam CT scan to create a three-dimensional model of your jaw. This allows precise planning of implant placement before a single incision is made, improving both accuracy and predictability.

Book Your Free All-On-4® Consultation

Your free consultation will be with one of our dental implant dentists. It will include photographs and an OPG x-ray so that we can craft a personalised, detailed treatment plan. Our treatment coordination team will also have a chance to discuss any finance options and concerns you have about the treatment.

Our 6-steps All-On-4 Dental Implants Procedure

All-On-4® dental implants work by attaching a full set of artificial teeth to either one or both jawbones during a surgical procedure. Look at the detailed 6-step procedure.

1.Consultation and Planning

Your All-On-4 treatment begins with a detailed consultation, where our experienced team assesses your oral health, discusses your goals, and takes scans or X-rays. Based on the results, we will decide whether you are an eligible candidate for All-On-4 treatment. If you are eligible, we will create a detailed treatment plan that includes the type of implant you need, material selection, the complete process timeline, cost, and payment options.

2.Tooth Removal and Preparation

If any damaged or remaining teeth are present, they are carefully removed, and your mouth is prepared for the new implants. We also offer optional sedation for patients who feel anxiety.

3.Implant Placement

Based on the digital plan, our implant dentist places the four titanium implants. Two straight implants at the front and two strategically angled implants at the back. We place them strategically to utilise your strongest bones, reducing the need for bone grafting surgery. The surgery takes about 2 to 4 hours per arch.

4.Temporary Teeth Placement

We immediately begin custom crafting your fixed bridge at our dental lab. After the four implants are securely placed in your jaw, a set of temporary teeth is attached on the same day. You will wear these temporary teeth during the initial healing period.

5.Healing

The healing stage usually takes 3 to 6 months. As titanium implants bond naturally with your jawbone, the process is called osseointegration. They become strong enough to support your final bridge. Our team will check your progress regularly to ensure proper healing.

6.Final Restoration

Once your implants have fully healed and become strong, we begin preparing your final bridge. It is carefully crafted from high-quality materials, such as zirconia or acrylic, to give you natural-looking teeth.

All-On-4 Dental Implants FAQs

At Perth Dental Rooms, we often explain that while both options use titanium posts to replace missing teeth, the main difference is the number of implants and how they are placed.

1. The Number of Implants
Regular Implants: Usually, we use one implant for every single missing tooth. If you are missing an entire row of teeth, you might need 8 to 10 implants to support them.

All-On-4: As the name suggests, we only need four implants to support a full bridge of 10 to 14 teeth.

2. The Angle of Placement
Regular Implants: These are placed straight down into the jawbone. This procedure often requires a lot of bone height, which might mean you need a bone graft surgery first.

All-On-4: We place the back two implants at an angle. This allows us to use the strongest part of your jawbone, often avoiding the need for bone grafting entirely.

3. The Speed (New Teeth in a Day)

Regular Implants: These can take many months and multiple surgeries to complete.

All-On-4: This is often called “Teeth in a Day”. Because the four implants are so stable, we can often attach your new set of teeth on the same day as your surgery.

If you are only missing one or two teeth, regular implants are the standard choice. However, if you are looking to replace an entire upper or lower row of teeth, All-On-4 is generally a faster, more cost-effective, and less invasive solution.

At Perth Dental Rooms, All-On-4 dental implant treatment starts from $19,000 per jaw for a fixed acrylic bridge and from $25,000 per jaw for a zirconia bridge.

The total cost depends on your clinical condition, treatment complexity, and the type of final bridge selected. During your consultation, we conduct a detailed assessment, including 3D imaging, to provide a clear, personalised treatment plan with a full cost breakdown.

Yes, in most cases. Perth Dental Rooms offers ‘teeth in a day’, where your four implants are placed and a temporary fixed bridge is attached on the same day as your surgery. You leave our Perth CBD clinic with a complete, functional set of teeth. Your final bridge is then crafted in our in-house laboratory and fitted after osseointegration, typically three to six months after surgery. This means you are never without teeth throughout the process.

Most patients are surprised to find that the procedure is much more comfortable than they expected. At Perth Dental Rooms, your comfort is our priority, and we use several methods to help ensure a comfortable and relaxed experience.

During the Procedure: You won’t feel any pain. We use local anaesthesia to completely numb the area. For patients who feel nervous, we also offer sedation options to help you feel relaxed or even drift off to sleep during the treatment.

After the Surgery: Once the anaesthesia wears off, it is normal to feel some mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness for a few days. Most patients find this is easily managed with standard over-the-counter pain relief and cold packs.

The Recovery: Most people are back to their normal routine within 2 to 3 days. Compared to having a single tooth pulled, many patients say the recovery from All-On-4 is smoother because the implants are placed precisely using a digital plan.

In Australia, All-On-4 dental implant treatment is not usually fully covered by health insurance. Some parts of the treatment, such as extractions, imaging, or the dental prosthesis, may be partially covered depending on your level of extras cover.

At Perth Dental Rooms, we work with most major Australian health funds and can help you understand what may be claimed under your policy. We provide a detailed treatment plan so you can check your benefits before proceeding. Payment plan options are also available to assist with treatment costs.

Yes, you can. Once your implants have fully healed, you can eat almost anything you like.

For the first few months after your procedure, we will ask you to stick to softer foods. This gives the implants the time they need to bond strongly with your jawbone. After that, you are free to enjoy a normal, healthy diet again.

You may be a suitable candidate for All-On-4 dental implants if you are missing most or all of your teeth in one or both jaws and are looking for a fixed replacement option. Suitability depends on the condition of your gums, the amount of available jawbone, and your overall oral and general health. Many patients who wear dentures or have failing teeth are assessed for this treatment.

At Perth Dental Rooms, each patient is assessed based on their clinical condition and treatment needs. A detailed consultation, including a clinical examination and 3D imaging, is required to determine if this treatment is appropriate for you.

You might not be a good candidate of All-On-4 implants if,

  • You have severe bone loss that cannot support implants.
  • You have uncontrolled diabetes or other health conditions that affect healing.
  • You smoke heavily, which can reduce implant success.
    Poor oral hygiene habits

The two main materials we use for your All-On-4 implants are Acrylic and Zirconia. We use Australian-made titanium implants and custom bridges designed and crafted in our in-house dental lab for long-lasting and natural-looking results.

The two main materials we use for your All-on-4 implants are Acrylic and Zirconia. We use Australian-made titanium implants and custom bridges designed and crafted in our in-house dental lab for long lasting and natural looking result.

Both bridge materials are attached to your four implants and are fixed (non-removable).

Acrylic bridges are lighter and lower in cost, making them a practical and effective option for many patients. They are also easier to modify if adjustments are needed.

Zirconia bridges are made from a high-strength ceramic material that is more durable, more resistant to staining, and has a more natural translucency, closely resembling the appearance of natural tooth enamel.

We will discuss which option is best suited to your needs and budget during your consultation.

When properly maintained, All-On-4 dental implants are designed to be a long-term, lifelong solution. The four titanium posts are designed to be a long-term solution. When properly cared for and integrated with the jawbone, these implants can last 25 years or more.

The bridge (the teeth) is the prosthetic teeth attached to the implants experience daily wear from chewing, similar to natural teeth. Depending on the material used and your lifestyle habits, a bridge typically lasts between 10 and 15 years before it may need maintenance or replacement.

At Perth Dental Rooms, we guide you on how to care for your implants, including daily cleaning and regular check-ups. Ongoing maintenance plays a key role in how long your treatment lasts.

Like all surgeries, All-On-4 has small risks, such as issues with nerves or sinuses for the top jaw. We use a 3D CBCT scan to create a digital map. Our implant doctor, Dr Vireena Koshal, ensures that implants are placed with the utmost care, precision, and attention to detail, minimising risks such as nerve or sinus damage.

The main difference is that All-On-4 is fixed, while dentures are removable.

All-On-4 implants are securely anchored by four dental implants. They stay in your mouth 24/7, meaning they don’t slip; you don’t need messy glue, and you can eat all your favourite foods with full strength.

Traditional dentures sit on top of your gums. They are a more affordable, non-surgical option, but they can sometimes move while speaking or eating and must be taken out at night to clean.

If you want teeth that feel and function like natural ones, All-On-4 is usually the preferred choice. If you want a simpler, lower-cost option without surgery, dentures may be right for you.

The First Few Days: You may experience some mild swelling or bruising, which usually peaks around day 2 or 3. Most patients feel ready to return to work and light activities within 3 to 5 days.

The Healing Phase is 3–6 Months: While you will feel “back to normal” within a week, your jawbone needs time to fully bond with the implants (a process called osseointegration). During this time, you will wear a high-quality temporary bridge and stick to a soft food diet to ensure the implants stay stable.

At Perth Dental Rooms, we monitor your healing closely and provide clear aftercare guidance at each stage of treatment.
