Perth Dental Rooms: Affordable Dental Implants in Perth
Missing teeth make chewing harder, affect speech, and lead to jawbone shrinkage over time. If missing teeth are not treated, nearby teeth can shift out of place, your bite can change, and future treatment may become more complex. Perth Dental Rooms provides dental implant solutions for patients who want a long-lasting, natural-looking replacement for missing teeth.
At Perth Dental Rooms, we provide dental implant treatment from single implants to full-arch restorations, with clear cost breakdowns. With 4,000+ successful implants placed and more than 1,000 procedures performed annually, our clinical experience and dedication to excellence speak for themselves.
We have designed Perth Dental Rooms with your comfort in mind. There’s no impersonal coldness, just a calm, welcoming environment that combines elegance with a patient-first approach. Each treatment room is equipped with the latest digital implant technology, and our strict sterilisation and infection control protocols ensure you can feel completely confident in the safety and cleanliness of your care. We use only TGA-approved implant systems, including Nobel Biocare and Straumann. Our clinicians are proud members of the Australian Dental Association (ADA). Our goal is to help you eat, speak, and maintain oral health more comfortably.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are titanium posts designed to replace the root of a missing tooth. These screw-like anchors are surgically placed into the jawbone, where teeth are absent. Dental implants are made from materials that the body accepts well, allowing them to attach to the jawbone in a process called osseointegration, which provides a strong base for custom crowns and bridges. This process ensures that your new teeth not only look natural but also function like your original teeth.
Dental implants are ideal for those:
- With one or more missing teeth.
- Who want a fixed alternative to dentures or bridges.
- Who struggle with loose or uncomfortable dentures.
Good candidates generally have healthy gums and sufficient jawbone density. If bone loss is a concern, Perth Dental Rooms offers bone grafting options for a successful outcome. Our team will assess your condition thoroughly at your consultation.

The 6-Phase Dental Implant Process at Perth Dental Rooms
At Perth Dental Rooms, a dental implant procedure is performed by an experienced implant dentist. Treatment planning is guided by CBCT 3D imaging and digital workflow to assess bone volume, anatomical structures, and prosthetic design before surgery is scheduled. Take a look at the 6-Phase Dental Implant Procedure below:
Free Consultation and Examination
Your process begins with a free, one-on-one consultation with our team. We use digital X-rays and 3D cone beam CT scans to assess jawbone density, gum health, and overall oral condition. This information allows us to create a personalised treatment plan to perform virtual placement of your implants before surgery.
Dental Implant Placement
This is a surgical phase. In this phase, we will place the dental implants into the jawbone. This procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, with optional sedation for your comfort. Our implant dentist carefully creates a small opening in the gum tissue to access the jawbone and places a small titanium implant into the jawbone, which will serve as the new root for your tooth. The gum is then closed and allowed to heal naturally.
Osseointegration
Osseointegration is the healing phase that follows your implant placement. Your jawbone can take a few months to heal and grow around your implant, forming a strong foundation. At this stage, a temporary tooth may be placed so that you can eat and smile comfortably. Once healing is complete, the implant will support a long-lasting crown, bridge, or denture.
Abutment Placement
Once the implant is secure, a small connector called an abutment is attached. The abutment will hold your new crown in place.
Crown Placement
Finally, we place a custom-made crown on top of your new artificial tooth. It’s carefully designed in our in-house lab to match the colour, shape, and size of your natural teeth.
Periodic Check-ups
Just like natural teeth, your new implants require regular care and check-ups. We offer follow-up appointments to ensure the longevity of your dental implants.

How Long Does Recovery Take?
While every patient heals at their own pace, here is a general timeline for your recovery following your procedure at Perth Dental Rooms.
- The First 48 Hours
Mild swelling, bruising and discomfort are normal. These are typically managed with prescribed pain relief. A soft-food diet is recommended. Most patients are able to return to work within 1 to 2 days, based on how they recover. - The First 1–2 Weeks
As you enter the early healing phase, any initial swelling will begin to subside. If sutures were used, we will review them during a follow-up appointment. During this stage, it is important to follow the oral hygiene instructions we provided to keep the site clean and prevent infection. - The Integration Phase (3–6 Months)
The integration phase takes between 3 to 6 months. This is a natural biological process in which the implant stabilises within the jawbone, a phase that is generally painless for most patients. To ensure you maintain your smile and function during this time, we provide a temporary restoration while healing is completed. - Final Placement
Once the implant is fully integrated, you will return to our clinic, where your crown, bridge, or denture will be securely fitted. You can resume a normal diet and enjoy your full smile immediately.
Post-Operative Aftercare Tips
- Soft diet for the first 7–10 days
- Gentle rinsing with warm salt water after 24 hours. Avoid vigorous rinsing in the first 24 hours to protect the clot.
- No smoking during healing. Smoking significantly increases the risk of implant failure by impairing the blood supply to healing tissue.
- Oral hygiene: Continue gentle brushing, avoiding the implant site. Use the prescribed antibacterial mouthwash as directed.
- Attend all follow-up appointments as scheduled to allow our team to monitor healing and address any concerns early.
- Contact us immediately on 08 9322 5340 if you experience increasing pain after day 3, fever, unusual swelling or a loose implant.
Comfortable Care with Sedation Options for Anxious Patients
We understand that some patients may feel anxious about dental procedures. At Perth Dental Rooms, your comfort is our priority. If you’re feeling nervous or uneasy about getting dental implants, we offer sedation options to help you relax during the procedure.
- Local Anaesthetic – Included in every implant procedure. You will feel no pain, just gentle pressure. Our team takes time to ensure you are fully numb before we begin.
- Happy Gas (Nitrous Oxide) – A gentle way to ease nerves during your procedure. You will feel relaxed and at ease, and it wears off quickly, so you can get on with your day.
- Twilight Sedation (IV) – For patients with significant anxiety, IV sedation helps you drift into a calm, sleep-like state.

Dental Implants FAQs
Can everyone have Dental Implants?
Dental implants are a great solution for many patients, but not everyone is a candidate. At Perth Dental Rooms, we assess several factors to determine if dental implants are right for you:
General Health: Ideal candidates should be in good overall health. Certain medical conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes or immune system disorders, may affect healing and implant success.
Bone Quality: A healthy jawbone is necessary to support the implant. If bone loss has occurred, we may recommend bone grafting or other procedures to rebuild the bone before proceeding with implants.
Age: Implants are generally recommended for adults whose jawbones have fully developed. There is no upper age limit, provided you are in good health.
Oral Hygiene: Maintaining proper oral hygiene is essential for the long-term success of implants. If you have difficulty maintaining good oral care, your dentist will discuss alternatives with you.
During your consultation, we will evaluate your individual needs and determine if dental implants are the right solution for you. If not, we will explore other options to restore your smile.
Book your consultation at Perth Dental Rooms today to learn more about your options for dental implants.
What is the cost of dental implants at Perth Dental Rooms?
At Perth Dental Rooms, the cost of dental implants starts at just $3,999 for a single tooth and $19,000 for a full arch of All-On-4 dental implants. We offer flexible payment plans, including Buy Now Pay Later (Humm, Afterpay), Payment Plans (TLC), and Early Release of Superannuation.
Who is an ideal candidate for dental implants?
Ideal candidates for dental implants are generally healthy adults with good oral hygiene. They should have sufficient bone in their jaw to support the implant. Patients with missing teeth due to injury, decay, or other reasons can benefit from dental implants, provided they are in good overall health. Call 08 9322 5340 to book your free consultation to check your suitability.
Who May Not Be Suitable for Dental Implants?
Dental implants may not be suitable for you if you have the following:
- Uncontrolled health conditions like diabetes or autoimmune disorders
- Insufficient jawbone or severe bone loss (bone grafting may be required)
- Active gum disease or poor oral hygiene
- Heavy smoking habits, as it can affect healing
- Age under 18, as the jawbone may not be fully developed
During your consultation, our team will assess your health and oral condition to determine if dental implants are the right option for you. If implants are not suitable, we will discuss alternative treatments.
Are same-day dental implants available at Perth Dental Rooms?
Yes, we offer same-day dental implants at Perth Dental Rooms. Using the All-On-4® method, we can place implants and attach a temporary restoration on the same day. This allows you to leave our clinic with a complete, functional set of teeth. During your consultation, we will assess if you’re a suitable candidate for same-day implants and explain the process in detail.
Are Dental Implants Painful?
Dental implants are generally not painful during the procedure at Perth Dental Rooms. We use local anaesthetic or sedation to ensure you feel no pain, only mild pressure. Most of our patients report only mild discomfort, soreness, or pressure during recovery. Any tenderness or aching within the first 24–48 hours is normal and manageable.
How long does dental implant treatment take?
The dental implant surgery itself takes 1–2 hours. However, the complete treatment process, including healing and bone integration, can take 3 to 6 months. Some patients may be eligible for same-day implants with a temporary crown.
What Happens if My Dental Implant Fails?
Dental implants are widely used in modern dentistry, but as with any procedure, risks and complications can occur. We use TGA-approved Nobel Biocare and Straumann implant systems, which are supported by long-term clinical evidence. If a complication does occur, we will assess the situation, identify the cause, and discuss appropriate next steps with you. Early signs of concern such as increasing pain after day 3, unusual swelling, or a feeling of movement in the implant should be reported to us immediately on 08 9322 5340.
If an implant does fail, Dr Vireena Koshal will assess the implant location, identify the cause, and discuss your options. In most cases, once the area has fully healed, a replacement implant can be placed successfully.
We will do a thorough assessment process – including 3D CBCT imaging and a full medical review – before any implant is placed. We identify and address risk factors early so that failures are extremely unlikely.
