- Taking an impression of the mouth.
- Sending the impression to a dental lab for fabrication.
- Placing a temporary crown.
- Removal of temporary crown and cleaning the tooth.
- Placement of permanent crown.
- Bonding the crown permanently to the tooth
- Traditional dentures or bridges to replace a few teeth or all the teeth.
- Dental implants – to support a crown to replace a single tooth, or to anchor a denture or bridge if more teeth are missing.

CEREC – Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics – uses 3D imaging and computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies. This avoids the need for impressions of your mouth and placement of a temporary crown.
