What can I expect at my first appointment?
When you arrive for your first appointment, our receptionist will welcome you and ask you to complete a form with your medical history and contact details. You can also download the Medical History Form online and return it by email or post, or bring the completed form to your appointment. While you wait, you are welcome to use our waiting area, which includes a television and magazines. Your dentist will then take you to the treatment room and discuss your dental concerns, medical history and appointment needs. Our team will explain procedures, answer questions and discuss available treatment options during your appointment. Please ask any questions you have during your visit.
What will I receive at my first appointment?
Your first general check-up will include:
- Full mouth examination
- Two radiograph x-rays
- Scale and clean
- Fluoride treatment
- Photographs (if required)
- Full treatment plan
- Discussion with dentist about your treatment options
- New patient pack
