Our Denture Treatment Process
Whether you’re missing a few teeth or all your teeth, dentures are one option to help with chewing, speech and appearance after tooth loss.
Initial
Consultation
Our initial consultation is focused on understanding your unique needs. We discuss various options and create a personalised treatment plan for your dentures in Perth.
Precision and Comfort
We use digital technology to help plan the fit and appearance of your dentures. Some soreness is common while you get used to new dentures, and we will check and adjust the fit as needed.
Customisation
Each denture is custom-made to fit the contours of your mouth, with the aim of a comfortable fit and an appearance that suits your face.
Quality and Durability
We use quality materials, and your dentist will explain how long your dentures are likely to last and when relines may be needed.
Flexible Payment Plans
Understanding financial constraints, we offer a variety of payment options to suit your budget.

THE DENTURE TYPES WE OFFER
There are two main types of dentures.
- A partial denture – if you have some teeth remaining
- Full dentures – if you’ve lost all your teeth
Dentures are further categorised as immediate dentures or conventional dentures. At Perth Dental Rooms we provide conventional dentures; immediate dentures (fitted on the day teeth are extracted) are not offered at our practice.
- Conventional dentures are fitted when the healing process after extraction is completed
Dentures can also be supported by dental implants
IMPLANT-SUPPORTED DENTURES
While standard dentures are secured in place by adhesive and natural suction, you can also get dentures that are anchored by dental implants
Implant-supported dentures may help reduce jaw bone loss around the implants, compared with regular dentures.
Jaw bone deteriorates without the stimulus of a tooth root. Standard dentures can’t replace a tooth root, but dental implants fuse with bone to form an artificial root. This can help maintain bone around the implants, which supports facial structure, although results vary between patients. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
WHY YOU NEED TO REPLACE MISSING TEETH
Teeth are an important part of our anatomy. They play a crucial role in preserving oral structure and natural facial appearance. They also allow us to speak properly and chew food so it’s digestible.
These functions can be compromised if you’ve lost more than one tooth and don’t have them replaced. Missing teeth can also result in remaining teeth shifting out of position.
Dentures can help reduce problems like these and support chewing and speech after tooth loss.
