Amela chose a career in dentistry because it combines her intrinsic passions of working with people and helping people. She goes above and beyond for her patients, bringing passion, knowledge and laughter to the clinic.
Amela completed a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene at Curtin University. Since graduating in 2006, Amela has over fourteen years’ experience working in private dental practices, with a very strong interest in the link between periodontitis and systemic diseases. Registered to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Amela is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia and continues to further her knowledge through continued professional development courses.

Amela enjoys strength training, walking, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
